Change the product connection of a parameter

If necessary, a practice manager can change the connection of a parameter. For example, if you have a product record in your practice information management system (PIMS) for one brand of a product. You connected the product record to a SmartFlow parameter. You add the parameter to templates. Then you make a new product record for a new brand of the same product. You can change the product record that the parameter is connected to. As a result, you do not need to change the parameters of the templates.

To change the product that a parameter is connected to, do this procedure.
  1. Select the user account button.

  2. Select SETTINGS.

  3. In the TEMPLATES AND FORMS section, select Parameters.

  4. Find the applicable parameter and select the pencil button.

  5. In the first Name box, select the applicable product.
The parameter has the new connection.
