About changes to the sections of parameters
When a practice manager configures a parameter, they must select the applicable section. After the practice manager saves the parameter, you cannot change the section of the parameter.
If the parameter has the incorrect section, a practice manager must:
- Remove the original parameter
- Make the parameter again and select the correct section
Change the section of a parameter that has a connection to a PIMS product record
If your SmartFlow site has a connection to your practice information management system (PIMS), a practice manager can change the section of a parameter. To change the section, they must:
- Remove the connection between the parameter and the PIMS product record
- Select the parameter that does not have a connection
- Select the applicable section
- Make the connection to the PIMS product record again
