Configure a parameter to sync invoice information

A practice manager can configure a parameter to automatically sync invoice information.

Make sure that you set SEND BILLING & MEDICAL RECORDS TO EMR to ON.
Note: You cannot use the SmartFlow iPad app to do this procedure. You must use the SmartFlow web app.
To configure a parameter, do this procedure.
  1. Select the user account button.

  2. Select SETTINGS.

  3. In the TEMPLATES AND FORMS section, select Parameters.

  4. Select the pencil button of the applicable parameter.
    SmartFlow shows the Edit parameter dialog box.
  5. Set Events to ON.
    Note: The Events setting shows the name of the practice management software (PIMS). For example, if you use ezyVet, SmartFlow shows ezyVet Events.

    If you use SmartFlow without a PIMS, SmartFlow shows Billing.

  6. Select Update.

The parameter has the necessary configuration. When a staff member completes a treatment of the parameterworkflow task, SmartFlow automatically syncs the invoice information to your PIMS.
