Change the permissions role of a user account

Each SmartFlow user account has a permissions role. Each permissions role gives the specified user account access to different features and functions of SmartFlow. A practice manager can change the role of a SmartFlow user account.

Make sure that your user account has the Level 6 permissions role.
To change the permissions role, do this procedure.
Note: You cannot use the SmartFlow iPad app to do this procedure. You must use the SmartFlow web app.
  1. Select the user account button.

  2. Select SETTINGS.

    SmartFlow shows a General settings screen.
  3. In the SECURITY section, select Users.

  4. Select the options button of the applicable user account.

  5. Select Edit user.

    SmartFlow shows an Edit user dialog box.
  6. In the Permission level box, select an applicable permissions role for the user account.

  7. Select Save changes.

The user account has the permissions role. As a result, the applicable staff member has access to the SmartFlow features and functions of the specified permissions role.
