If you want to get access to a patient's records after discharge, you can download them. For example, if you discharged a patient but the patient information did not sync to your practice information management system (PIMS), you can download the applicable records.

1. Select the user account button.
   
2. Select ARCHIVE.
   
   SmartFlow shows an All Hospitalizations screen.
3. Use the Search hospitalizations box to find the applicable patient.
   

   Note: If the patient stayed at your clinic more than one time, make sure that you find the correct admission date.
   SmartFlow shows a list of patients that have your search in their:

   • Name
   • Patient file number
4. For the applicable patient, select the download button.
   
   SmartFlow shows a list of documents that you can download.
5. Select the documents that you want to download.
   Note: Select Download all documents to download all of the patient's documents as ZIP format.
