Record a patient's ventilator information

You can use an anesthetic sheet to record a patient's initial ventilator information. For example, you can record the tidal volume, the peak inspiratory pressure, and the flow rate.

Make sure that the patient has an anesthetic sheet.
To record ventilator information, do this procedure.
Note: You cannot use the SmartFlow web app to do this procedure. You must use the SmartFlow iPad app.
  1. Go to the whiteboard.
  2. Select the applicable patient card.

  3. Select Anesthetic.

  4. Select Edit.

    SmartFlow shows options to make changes to the anesthetic sheet.
  5. Select Preoperative.

    SmartFlow shows the Creating new Anesthetic Sheet dialog box.
  6. In the VENTILATOR section, use the boxes to record the applicable information.

  7. Select Save.
The anesthetic sheet has the ventilator information.
