Change the quantity of an induction medication

After you make an anesthetic sheet, you can change the quantity of the induction medication that you administer to the patient.

Make sure that you added the induction medication in the Creating new Anesthetic Sheet dialog box when you made the anesthetic sheet.

To change the quantity, do this procedure.

Note: You cannot use the SmartFlow web app to do this procedure. You must use the SmartFlow iPad app.

Go to the whiteboard of the applicable patient.
Select the applicable patient card.
SmartFlow shows the patient's flowsheet.
Select Anesthetic.
SmartFlow shows the patient's anesthetic sheet.
Select Edit.
Select Editing mode.
In the Medication section, select the applicable induction medication.
SmartFlow shows the medication settings.
In the Total dose: boxes, enter the new quantity.
Make sure that the other information is correct.
Select Save.

The anesthetic sheet shows the new quantity.
