Anesthetic sheet: Control bar buttons

Anesthetic sheets have a set of buttons that show in the control bar.

This table gives each button and its function:

ButtonFunction
Whiteboard
The Whiteboard button
Select Whiteboard to show the whiteboard.
Tip: The Whiteboard button shows the number of patients that the whiteboard has.
Flowsheet
The Flowsheet button
Select Flowsheet to show the flowsheet of the applicable patient.
Dental
The Dental button
Select Dental to show the dental chart of the applicable patient.

If a patient does not have a dental chart:

  • The Dental button shows as dark gray with a plus sign (+)
  • You can select Dental to make a dental chart.

If a patient has a dental chart that is in progress, the Dental button shows an orange dot.

If a patient has a completed dental chart, the Dental button shows a green tick.

Anesthetic
The Anesthetic button
Select Anesthetic to go back to a patient's anesthetic sheet from a different screen.
Note: In anesthetic sheets, the Anesthetic button has no function.
Forms
The Forms button
Select Forms to get access to documents for the applicable patient. Document examples include:
  • The Billing report
  • The patient's medical records

If a patient has a form that is not completed, the Forms button shows an orange dot.

Emergency
The Emergency button
Select Emergency to show the CPR Emergency Drugs and Doses window.
Arrows adjacent to the dateSelect the arrows adjacent to the date to show the anesthetic treatments for the next hour or for the previous hour.
DateSelect the date to show a list of treatment dates for the patient.
Tip: Select one of the dates to show the anesthetic sheet for the date that you selected.
Notes
The Notes button
Select Notes to show the Notes dialog box.
Finalize
The Finalize button
Select Finalize to complete the anesthetic sheet and save a PDF document that has the anesthetic sheet information.
Note: Before you enter information in an anesthetic sheet, the Finalize button has no function and is a gray color.
Edit
The Edit button
Select Edit to show a list of buttons that you can use to make changes.Edit menu for an anesthetic sheet
User account button
The user account button
Select the user account button to use a PIN to easily change to a different user account.
