The whiteboard account

Your SmartFlow site has a whiteboard account. The whiteboard account is a dedicated user account that you use to sign into SmartFlow for a device that is connected to a display.

SmartFlow does not let you use the whiteboard account to do some types of tasks. For example, you cannot use the whiteboard account to:
  • Make changes to flowsheets
  • Make temporary patient records
  • Make changes to settings

The whiteboard account has a session sign-out time. The session sign-out time controls the period before the whiteboard account automatically signs out of SmartFlow. A practice manager can configure the session sign-out time to not automatically sign out.
Note: Before you can use the whiteboard account to sign in to SmartFlow, a practice manager must configure it.
