Whiteboard alerts

A whiteboard can have two alerts. The alerts are sounds that tell staff that a patient has a missed workflow task, or a missed treatment task.

The whiteboard makes the first alert of the two alerts:
  • When you make a temporary patient record
  • When you select a different whiteboard
  • When a patient has a workflow task that you did not complete
Note: If a patient has a workflow task that you did not complete, SmartFlow makes an alert sound at 30-second intervals.
The whiteboard makes the second alert when you did not complete a patient's scheduled treatment tasks.
Tip: You can listen to the alerts as follows:
To activate or deactivate the whiteboard alerts, select the bell button that shows in the applicable whiteboard. If you activate the alerts, the bell button shows a blue color. If you deactivate them, the icon shows a gray color.
