SmartFlow shows the error message: Patient with the file number not found in your PIMS

Make sure that you have a stable internet connection to sync information between SmartFlow and your practice information management system (PIMS).

The patient file number in SmartFlow is different to the patient ID in your PIMS

Change the patient file number

  1. Go to the whiteboard.
  2. Select the applicable patient card.

  3. Select the pencil button.

  4. Select the button for more options.

  5. Select Edit Info.

  6. Make sure that the Patient File Number is the same as the the patient ID in your PIMS.

  7. If the error message still shows on the patient's flowsheet, go to the whiteboard.
  8. Select the sync button.
