The Documents Management screen
The Documents Management screen shows settings that a practice manager can use to configure SmartFlow reports. It is important that you know the function of the settings.
- Configure the logo that SmartFlow shows on reports
- Configure SmartFlow to automatically send reports to an email address
- Configure your device to automatically download a report after you discharge a patient
- Select the files that SmartFlow keeps after you discharge a patient

EXPORT DOCUMENTS TO EMR | Use EXPORT DOCUMENTS TO EMR to configure SmartFlow to automatically sync reports to your practice information management system (PIMS) after you discharge a patient. Note: If you did not connect SmartFlow to your PIMS:

SAVE TO DISK | Use SAVE TO DISK to configure SmartFlow to automatically download the reports after you discharge a patient. Note: SmartFlow does not automatically download reports if you use the mobile app to discharge a patient. |
MERGE REPORTS INTO ONE PDF | Use MERGE REPORTS INTO ONE PDF to configure SmartFlow to make one PDF document that has each report. |
SEND EMAIL | Use SEND EMAIL to configure SmartFlow to automatically send a patient's reports to an email address after you discharge the patient. Note: If you set SEND EMAIL to Yes, SmartFlow sends the email to the email address that you enter in the EMAIL ADDRESS box. Note: If you set EXPORT DOCUMENTS TO EMR to Yes:

The FILES TO RETAIN AFTER DISCHARGE section
Use the FILES TO RETAIN AFTER DISCHARGE section to configure the reports that SmartFlow saves after you discharge a patient. And if you configure SmartFlow to automatically make one PDF document that shows each report, you can configure the sequence of the reports.
