Treatment task text (staff initials or clinical information)
SmartFlow automatically knows if the text that you enter for a treatment task is staff initials or clinical information about the treatment.
If you enter only one word, SmartFlow reads the one word as staff initials that identify a completed treatment. As a result, the one word shows in:
- The treatment cell of the flowsheet
- The NOTES pane
- The Notes dialog box
- The Notes report
- The Billing report
- The Medical records report
If you enter more than one word, SmartFlow reads the words as clinical information about the treatment. As a result, SmartFlow shows the words in:
- The treatment cell of the flowsheet
- The Billing report
- The Medical records report
Note: To sense the number of words, SmartFlow examines the number of spaces in the text that you enter.
This table gives examples of text entered in a treatment task and the result:
