If necessary, you can remove an intravenous (IV) catheter from a flowsheet. For example, if you added the IV catheter to the flowsheet of the incorrect patient, you can remove it.

1. Go to the whiteboard.
2. Select the applicable patient card.
   SmartFlow shows the patient's flowsheet.
3. Select Edit.
   
   SmartFlow shows options that let you make changes to the flowsheet.
4. Select IV Catheter.
   
   SmartFlow shows a IV Catheter dialog box.
5. Remove the value that the Size box shows.
   
6. Remove the value that the Length box shows.
7. Select Save.
   
   SmartFlow shows the You are about to remove catheter dialog box.
8. Select Remove.
