About workflow tasks and analytics
If a practice manager activates SmartFlow analytics, workflow tasks can operate differently.
After a practice manager enables SmartFlow analytics, workflow tasks that a practice manager added to the analytics workflow shows a padlock icon. As a result, you cannot change the applicable workflow tasks.
Before a practice manager enables SmartFlow analytics, the workflow tasks show a timer. The timer shows the quantity of time since the staff member completed the previous workflow task. After the practice manager enables analytics, the timer counts down. For example, a practice manager can set a target for staff to complete the workflow task in less than 20 minutes. As a result, the workflow task counts down from 20 minutes. If a person does not complete the workflow task within the target period, the workflow task blinks.
