If a patient's flowsheet has an Advanced Fluids treatment scheduled, complete the necessary treatment tasks to record the treatment.

1. Go to the whiteboard of the applicable patient.
2. Select the applicable patient card.
   SmartFlow shows the patient's flowsheet.
3. In the ADV FLUIDS section, right-click on the cell for the applicable task.
   
   SmartFlow shows an Execute task dialog box.
4. If previous Advanced Fluids tasks are not completed, enter your initials in the Initials box, then select Confirm skip.
   
   Note: If staff completed previous tasks, select Cancel. Then, complete the applicable tasks before you continue.
5. If it is necessary to change the fluid rate, enter the new rate in the Rate box.
   
6. In the Initials box, enter your initials.
   
7. Select Confirm.
