Make ezyVet records for a patient record that you made directly in SmartFlow

If you made a patient record directly in SmartFlow, use ezyVet to make a related contact record, patient record, and clinical record. The ezyVet records are necessary to record and invoice clinical care that you gave to the patient.

Make sure that ezyVet does not have a related patient record for the record that you made directly in SmartFlow. If ezyVet has a related patient record, refer to Connect a patient record that you made directly in SmartFlow with ezyVet records.

To make ezyVet records, do this procedure.

Select Dashboard.
Select Smart Flow.
If your ezyVet site uses a department configuration, clear the selected department in the Department box.
Set Status to All.
In the Unallocated Smart Flow Patient section, select the tick button that is adjacent to the applicable patient.
ezyVet shows a New Patient dialog box.
Select New Contact.
In the First Name* and Last Name* boxes, enter the client name.
In the Phone Number* box, enter the client phone number.
Select New Patient.
If necessary, use the Patient Name* box to change the patient name.
If necessary, use the Date of Birth box to change the patient's date of birth.
Note: If you did not record a date of birth in SmartFlow, Date of Birth shows the date that you made the patient record in SmartFlow.
In the Sex* box, enter the patient's sex.
In the Species* box, enter the patient's species.
In the Breed* box, enter the patient’s breed.
Select Add.
ezyVet shows a confirmation message.
