Use SmartFlow when your organization has no electricity supply

To continue to give care to your patients when your organization has no electricity supply, it is important to use your iPads and SmartFlow correctly. Very bad weather can stop electricity supply to your organization (for example, storms and tornadoes).

Before your organization has no electricity supply

Charge your iPads when they are not in operation.

When your organization has no electricity supply

Make these changes to your iPads:
  • Put your iPads in airplane mode.
  • If possible, charge your iPads when they are not in operation.
  • Put your iPads in sleep mode when they are not in operation.
This table gives the cause for each change to make in SmartFlow:

Tip: To make it easy, you can keep each iPad in the same area of your organization.
If you use more than one iPad to record treatments for a patient, you cannot see all the previous treatments that the patient had.About treatment tasks
