SmartFlow shows Warning! The dosage unit of concentration should be consistent when you try to record a total dose value

Do this troubleshooting if SmartFlow shows this warning when you try to record a total dose value for a medication: Warning! The dosage unit of concentration should be consistent with the concentration of medication (ex.: mg = mg). Otherwise, Charge Capture and/or Dispensing Machine will not work.

The units of measurement of the Concentration and the Dosage box are different

Select the correct unit of measurement for the dosage

  1. In the pop-up window that shows the warning, select Change.

  2. In the second Dosage box, select the same unit of measurement that is in the second Concentration box.

    SmartFlow automatically enters values in the Total dose boxes.
  3. Select Done.
