Configure Animana to automatically sync patient records to SmartFlow

Before you can use SmartFlow to record the clinical care information of a patient, you must sync the patient record from Animana. A practice manager can configure Animana to automatically sync patient records after a staff member changes the status of a related appointment to Arrived. As a result, it is not necessary to manually sync the patient record.

To configure Animana, do this procedure.
  1. Select the settings button.

  2. Select General Settings.

  3. In the SETTINGS sidebar, select SmartFlow.

  4. Select the checkbox of the Link to appointment status column.

  5. Select Save.

Animana has the configuration. After a staff member changes the appointment status to Arrived, Animana automatically syncs the patient information to SmartFlow.
Note: Animana does not automatically sync patient information if you change the appointment status of a recurring appointment.
