SmartFlow syncs a medication record to the Health Status section of a clinical record

If SmartFlow syncs a record of a medication product to the Health Status section of a clinical record, do these troubleshooting steps.

Configure the product record as a medication

  4. In the Properties section, make sure that Type is set to Medication.

You did not record a value in the Total Dose box of the product in SmartFlow

Note: The unit of measurement must be the same for:
  • The concentration of the medication

  • The dosage of the medication

Record a value in the Total Dose box

  1. Go to the whiteboard.
  2. Select the applicable patient card.
    SmartFlow shows the patient's flowsheet.
  3. Select the pencil button.

    SmartFlow shows buttons that you can use to add treatments to the flowsheet. And you can change treatments of the flowsheet.
  4. Find and select the applicable treatment.

  5. SmartFlow shows a dialog box with settings that you can use to configure the treatment.The treatment dialog box
  6. Select Done.

    Note: If you added a fluid product to the flow sheet, SmartFlow shows the maintenance rate.
    Note: If you added a medication product to the flow sheet, SmartFlow shows the concentration.
  7. Select the save button.
