SmartFlow operates slowly

Your iPad has a bad connection to the wireless network.
Note: Do a check to see if SmartFlow operates correctly after you complete each step.
  1. Move the iPad closer to the router for your wireless network.
  2. Restart the iPad.
  3. Restart your wireless network.

SmartFlow has a bad connection to your practice information management system (PIMS).

SmartFlow syncs data to your PIMS.

SmartFlow has more than 14 flowsheets for some patients.

  1. For each patient that is no longer at your clinic, discharge the patient in SmartFlow.
  2. If a patient stayed at your clinic for more than 14 days, and is still at your clinic, make a template from their treatments.
  3. Discharge the patient in SmartFlow.
  4. Admit the patient in SmartFlow.
  5. Use the template that you made in step 2 to schedule the same treatments for the patient.

You do not have the latest version of SmartFlow.

  1. In the Apple App Store, find the SmartFlow app.
  2. Select Update.

Your iPad does not have the latest version of iPadOS.

  1. Make sure that your iPad has a connection to a power supply.
  2. Make sure that your your iPad has a connection to your wireless network.
  3. Open the Settings app.
  4. In the left sidebar, select General.

  5. Select Software Update.

    If your iPad does not have the latest version of iPadOS, the iPad shows information about the latest version.
  6. If your iPad shows the latest version of iPadOS, select Update Now.

    Your iPad downloads and installs the latest version of iPadOS.
    Note: After your iPad installs the latest version of iPadOS, it will restart.
