Configure an iPad from IDEXX

If your organization received an iPad from IDEXX, a practice manager must configure it before you can use SmartFlow.

To configure an iPad from IDEXX, do this procedure.
Note: An Apple ID is not necessary.
  1. Start the iPad.
  2. Configure your applicable region and language.
    The iPad shows the Quick Start screen.
  3. Select Set Up Manually.
  4. Sign in to your organization's WiFi network.
    The iPad shows the Apple ID & Privacy screen.
  5. Select Continue.
    The iPad shows the Remote Management screen.
  6. Select Next.
    The iPad shows the Authenticate screen.
  7. In the Username box, enter the email address that your organization used to sign up for a SmartFlow account.
    If you do not know the email address, contact IDEXX customer support.
  8. In the Password box, enter $martfloW1.
  9. Select Continue.
    The iPad shows the Accept Terms screen.
  10. After you read the terms, select I have read and accept the terms.
  11. Select Continue.
    The iPad usually shows a loading screen while it downloads information from IDEXX.
The iPad removes applications that are not necessary, changes necessary settings, and downloads the SmartFlow application. Thus, the iPad is configured for your organization to use SmartFlow.
Note: If you want to install other applications or change the settings on the iPad, contact IDEXX customer support.
