About whiteboard alerts
The whiteboard has two alerts. The alerts are sounds that tell staff that a patient has a missed workflow task, or a missed treatment task.
The whiteboard makes the first alert when:
- You make a temporary patient record
- You select a different whiteboard
- A patient has a workflow task that you did not complete
Note: If a patient has a workflow task that you did not complete, SmartFlow makes the sound at 30 second intervals.

The whiteboard makes the second alert when you did not complete a patient's scheduled treatment tasks.

You can enable or disable the whiteboard alerts. To enable or disable the whiteboard alerts, select the bell icon:If you enable the alerts, the bell icon shows a blue color. If you disable the alerts, the icon shows a gray color.
