Whiteboards are easier to use and are aligned with the recent user interface changes in SmartFlow, to make the app feel more familiar and streamlined.

New whiteboard navigation

SmartFlow version 17.7.6 has these changes to whiteboard navigation:

• Buttons that were on the left side of the screen in previous versions are in the upper-left area of the screen
• The name of the whiteboard is in the upper-middle area of the screen
• The name and clinic of the user account that signed in to SmartFlow is in the upper-right area of the screen
• The Logout button is in the upper-right area of the screen

This table gives each changed part of the whiteboard navigation and its function:

Plus button	SmartFlow shows a list of options to admit a patient or make a form.
Refresh button	SmartFlow syncs data with your PIMS.
Now button	SmartFlow shows treatments or workflow tasks to do for patients at this time.
News button	SmartFlow shows information about changes in different versions of the iPad app.
Support button	SmartFlow shows information about how to contact IDEXX customer support.
Whiteboard name	SmartFlow lets you show patients from more than one whiteboard.
The name and clinic of the user account that signed in to SmartFlow	None.
Logout button	Signs the user account out of SmartFlow.

Patient search

Use the Search patients box to easily find a patient on a whiteboard. Save time with no extra menus or taps to keep your workflow smooth.

Settings button

Select the new settings button to change the whiteboard to show treatment tasks, workflow tasks, or both. And you can change the sequence of patients in the whiteboard.
