To record a previously prescribed medication that you administered for a patient, you can make a medication parameter for it.

1. Select the user account button.
   
2. Select SETTINGS.
   
   SmartFlow shows a General settings screen.
3. In the TEMPLATES AND FORMS section, select Parameters.
   
   SmartFlow shows a Parameters screen.
4. Select ADD NEW.
   
   SmartFlow shows the Create new parameter dialog box.
5. In the Name box, enter O, then enter the name of the medication.
   
   If the medication is Clavamox Drops, enter O 62.5 Clavamox Drops
6. In the Default Section box, select Medication.
   SmartFlow shows Concentration settings.
7. Set Billing to ON.
   Note: This step is important to make sure that SmartFlow syncs the medication information to your PIMS.
8. Make the other settings as necessary.
9. Select SAVE.
