Connect SmartFlow parameters to PIMS products (iPad method)

After you configure your SmartFlow integration with your practice information management system (PIMS), you must connect SmartFlow parameters to the applicable product. As a result, SmartFlow correctly syncs invoice information to your PIMS.

To map SmartFlow parameters, do this procedure.
  1. Go to the whiteboard.
  2. Select the applicable patient card.

  3. Select the pencil button.

    SmartFlow shows buttons that you can use to add treatments to the flowsheet and make changes to flowsheet treatments.
  4. Select the plus button of the applicable treatment type.

    SmartFlow shows a dialog box.
  5. Select Add EMR item.
    SmartFlow shows the Add EMR inventory item dialog box.
  6. In the EMR Name box, enter the name of the applicable PIMS product record.
  7. Make the other settings as necessary.
  8. Select Save.
The parameter has a connection to a PIMS product record.
