Methods to get access to treatment information

SmartFlow has three methods that you can use to get access to treatment information that you recorded in a patient's flowsheet.

The three methods are as follows:
  • You can show the information of a treatment task
  • You can show the general information of a flowsheet
  • You can use SmartFlow reports to show the information that you recorded

Method: Show information of a treatment task

When you complete a treatment task for a patient, you can record information about the treatment directly in the flowsheet. As a result, the flowsheet shows the recorded information.

Method: Show general information of a flowsheet

If you select Notes in the control bar, SmartFlow shows a Notes dialog box. You can use the Notes dialog box to record and show general information about the patient's clinical care.

In the SmartFlow web app, select NOTES in a patient's flowsheet to show a Notes dialog box. As an alternative to the dialog box, use the NOTES pane of a patient's flowsheet. To show the NOTES pane, select SHOW WORKFLOW.

In the SmartFlow iPad app, select Notes in the control bar to show a Notes dialog box.

In each SmartFlow app, the dialog box shows recorded information about the patient's clinical care.

Method: SmartFlow reports

SmartFlow has reports that show flowsheet treatment information. To show the information, you can use:
  • The Medical records report
  • The Notes report
