Different methods to add or change patient information

SmartFlow shows patient information that you record on the patient card, and in the patient information area of the patient sheet. There are different methods that you can use to add or change patient information.

There are three methods that you can use add or change patient information:
  • You can change patient information from the whiteboard
  • You can change patient information from the patient sheet
  • You can use the mobile app to change patient information

Whiteboard method

The whiteboard shows all of your organization's admitted patients. If you hover over a patient card, SmartFlow shows the EDIT PATIENT button. If you select EDIT PATIENT, SmartFlow shows the Edit Patient dialog box. You can use the Edit Patient dialog box to add or change patient information.

Patient sheet method

Patient sheets show the patient information area. The patient information area shows patient information (for example, the patient's age and the patient's weight). You can change the information that the patient information area shows. To change the patient information, select EDIT PATIENT. After you select the EDIT PATIENT button, SmartFlow shows the Edit Patient dialog box. You can use the Edit Patient dialog box to add or change patient information.

Mobile app method

The SmartFlow mobile app has a edit mode. When you use the edit mode you can change the patient information.
