If a patient has a fluid treatment, you can identify that you changed the fluid rate on their flowsheet. As a result, other staff can see the correct fluid rate.

1. Go to the whiteboard.
2. Select the applicable patient card.
   SmartFlow shows the patient's flowsheet.
3. Select Edit.
   
   SmartFlow shows options that let you make changes to the flowsheet.
4. Select Editing mode.
   
   SmartFlow lets you make many changes to the flowsheet at the same time.
5. Select the applicable fluid treatment.
   
   SmartFlow shows the settings of the treatment.
6. Select D/C.
   
   SmartFlow shows the Discontinue From dialog box.
7. Use the Discontinue From box to select the date and time that you changed the dose rate of the fluid treatment.
   
8. Select Discontinue.
   SmartFlow stops the fluid treatment.
9. Select the plus button that is adjacent to FLUID.
   
   SmartFlow shows your organization's fluid treatments.
10. Select the applicable fluid treatment.
    SmartFlow shows the fluid treatment settings.
11. In the Maintenance rate box, enter the applicable value.
12. Make the other settings as necessary.
13. Select Done.
    
14. Select Exit editing mode.
    
    SmartFlow does not let you make many changes to the flowsheet at the same time.
