Configure the SmartFlow integration for RxWorks

Before you can use the SmartFlow integration to record a patients clinical care, a practice manager must configure the SmartFlow integration for your RxWorks site.

Sign in to SmartFlow and get an applicable API key.
To configure the SmartFlow integration, do this procedure.
  1. Go to your RxWorks site.
  2. Select Options.
    RxWorks shows the Options pop-up window.
  3. Select Visit.
  4. RxWorks shows the Visit Options screen.
  5. Select Hospitalization Providers (eg. Smart Flow Sheet).
  6. Select Add Provider.
  7. In the Name box, enter an applicable name.
    For example, enter SmartFlow.
  8. In the Protocol box, select SmartFlowSheet.
    RxWorks shows the Protocol Settings section.
  9. In the End point box, enter https://www.smartflowsheet.com/api/v3.
  10. Make the other settings as necessary.
  11. Select Configure Clinic Settings.
    RxWorks shows the CLINIC CONFIGURATION screen.
  12. In the Clinic Api Key box, enter the SmartFlow API key.
  13. In the Time zone Name box, enter your organization's timezone.
    Note: To show a list of the timezone names with the correct format, you can:
    1. Right click the Time Zone Name setting.

    2. Select Open in a new window.
  14. In the Stock Location ID box, enter the applicable stock location number.
  15. Select the Item Integration Enabled checkbox.
  16. Select Save.
    RxWorks shows the HOSPITALIZATION SETTINGS screen.
  17. Select Synchronise Configuration.
RxWorks has the SmartFlow integration.
