Merlin can add patients to SmartFlow automatically. As a result, it is not necessary to add patients in SmartFlow manually.

1. Sign in to Merlin.
2. In the Administration menu select Code Entry.
3. In the Code Entry menu, select Code Maintenance.
4. In the Codes section, select Consultation.
5. Select Admit Consultation.
6. Select Edit.
7. In the Configurations section, select Send To.
8. Use the arrow buttons to make sure that Smart Flow is in the rightmost box.
