About the invoice information that syncs from SmartFlow to Animana

After a practice manager configures the SmartFlow integration for your Animana site, you can use SmartFlow to record a patient's clinical care. SmartFlow automatically syncs the invoice information of the clinical care that you record to the applicable patient record in your Animana site.

Before SmartFlow can sync invoice information to your Animana site, a practice manager must make sure that:
  • SEND BILLING & MEDICAL RECORDS TO EMR is set to ON
  • SEND ANESTHETIC BILLING & MEDICAL RECORDS TO EMR is set to ON
  • They synced the applicable product records to SmartFlow
  • They connected the Animana products to SmartFlow parameters

After you add a parameter that a practice manager connected to an Animana product to a SmartFlow flowsheet, the parameter shows a triangle with a green color. The triangle identifies that SmartFlow automatically syncs the invoice information of the treatment to the Animana patient record. And when you complete a treatment task, the treatment task also shows a triangle with a green color.
