SmartFlow and DataPoint
If your practice information management system (PIMS) cannot connect to SmartFlow directly, you can use DataPoint to sync information between your PIMS and SmartFlow.
The PIMS that can use DataPoint to connect to SmartFlow are:
- Cornerstone
- Avimark
- Impromed Infinity
Note: If you change a patient ID after you sync a patient to SmartFlow, SmartFlow can have data sync issues. If you do change the patient ID, and SmartFlow cannot sync data to your PIMS, IDEXX customer support recommends that you:
- Discharge the patient
- Sync the patient record to SmartFlow again
