SmartFlow shows a patient's sex as Unknown after you sync a patient from your PIMS
Do these troubleshooting steps if:
- Your organization uses DataPoint to sync information between your practice information management system (PIMS) and SmartFlow
- SmartFlow shows a patient's sex as Unknown after you sync the patient from your PIMS to SmartFlow
You did not record the patient's sex correctly in your PIMS
SmartFlow can only show four types for a patient's sex:
- Male
- Male neutered
- Female
- Female spayed
If you use a different type of sex, SmartFlow shows Unknown.
Change the patient sex in the patient record of your PIMS
Change the patient sex in SmartFlow
- Select EDIT PATIENT.SmartFlow shows the Edit Patient dialog box.
- Use the Sex setting to select the correct patient sex.
