Methods to make sure that SmartFlow syncs with CUBEX

To use SmartFlow with CUBEX, the two systems must connect and sync information.

If SmartFlow and CUBEX do not connect, SmartFlow shows an error message at the top of a patient's flowsheet:

You entered incorrect information when you connected CUBEX to SmartFlow.
  1. Find a patient ID in CUBEX
  2. If the patient ID in CUBEX is not the same as the patient file number in SmartFlow, change the patient file number as necessary.
  1. SmartFlow does not sync with your PIMS.
  2. The applicable patient's Patient File Number is different in SmartFlow and CUBEX.
Select SEND TO CUBEX in the upper-right corner of the patient's flowsheet.
  1. SmartFlow syncs with your PIMS.
  2. The applicable patient's Patient File Number is different in SmartFlow and CUBEX.
  1. Make sure that the patient's Patient File Number is the same in SmartFlow and your PIMS.
  2. Select the sync button in the upper-right corner of the patient's flowsheet.
