Configure automatic patient admission with Cornerstone

If SmartFlow has a Cornerstone integration, you can make sure that SmartFlow automatically shows patients in the correct whiteboard after you complete admission in Cornerstone.

Make sure that you have access to a SmartFlow user account with a role of Level 6.

To configure SmartFlow to show patients automatically after you complete admission in Cornerstone, do this procedure.

In Cornerstone, go to Controls > Defaults > Practice and Workstation.
Cornerstone shows the Practice and Workstation Defaults window.
In the left sidebar, select API Integrations.
Select Enable Check-In and Check-Out Events.
Select Overwrite PVL items that are not performed.
Select Overwrite estimates and appointments to the PVL.
Select the user account button.
SmartFlow shows more settings.
In the INTEGRATION section, select Auto Check-In / Out.
In each box in the WHITEBOARD MAPPINGS section, select the applicable options.

Note: The options have the same names as the options in the Reasons For Visit window in Cornerstone. Each whiteboard will automatically show patients that have the options that you select.
Select Save.

SmartFlow automatically shows patients in the correct whiteboard after you complete admission in Cornerstone.
